The foundation of all our programs is Servant Leadership. We believe if a leader learns to put the needs of their reports before their own needs - great things happen. Yet, like all things in life, this is easier said than done. Servant Leadership requires a high degree of Emotional Intelligence. Thus, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management are integrated into everything we teach. When an emotionally intelligent leader consistently serves their team...they achieve next level outcomes.
The Leader Growth Group wants to change the way the world develops leaders. The traditional methodology has been to teach "about" leadership and, often, through expert lectures. While this helps people to understand the principles of leadership, it rarely results in the application of those principles. We believe that leadership can be taught; however, the learning can only happen through direct experience. Thus, rather than teach others "about" leadership, we create the conditions for people to teach themselves leadership. Our highly experiential designs get people doing rather than simply observing. The result is learning that is immediately applicable and more sustainable.
